Reaching into the bag of Cadbury’s chocolates that Emmaline sent for my birthday and pulling out a brightly-colored purple-and-orange one labeled “fudge”. Opening it, biting in, expecting the typical dark chocolate gooeyness—instead, met by the flaky, crystallized, faintly butterscotch flavor of NORTHERN IRISH fudge.

That, a mug of Tetley, enormous dark clouds promising a thunderstorm, an Honors paper, and a roommate discoursing enthusiastically about economics make up my afternoon.
